Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: [DATE]
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all participants in the Chosen ad network (https://chosen.ad), including Advertisers, Curators, Publishers, and Platforms. The Chosen ad network is operated by Banche Labs, Inc. (“Banche Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Ad Creative Standards
Advertisers may not submit ad creatives that:
- Are false, misleading, or deceptive
- Promote illegal products, services, or activities
- Infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- Contain malware, phishing links, or redirect to malicious destinations
- Promote hate speech, harassment, or discrimination based on protected characteristics
- Contain sexually explicit content unless approved for restricted distribution to appropriately flagged scopes
- Promote weapons, drugs, or controlled substances (except where legal and approved)
- Impersonate another person, organization, or brand
- Contain shocking, violent, or gratuitously disturbing imagery
- Make health or financial claims that are not substantiated or that violate applicable regulations
We may review, reject, or remove any creative at our discretion, at any time, with or without prior notice.
2. Curator and Publisher Conduct
Curators and Publishers may not:
- Generate artificial impressions, clicks, or engagement (click fraud)
- Incentivize others to click on ads or manipulate engagement metrics
- Hide, obscure, or modify ad creatives in ways that misrepresent the ad content
- Display ads on properties that primarily exist to generate fraudulent ad revenue
- Misrepresent their property’s content, audience, or traffic
- Use automated tools to select ads without genuine human review
3. Platform Conduct
Platforms may not:
- Issue fraudulent or misleading identity tokens
- Manipulate SDK behavior, tracking, or rendering
- Inflate user counts or scope metrics
- Allow users to act as Curators without valid acceptance of the Curator Terms
4. Prohibited Content on Publisher Properties
Chosen may restrict ad availability or terminate publisher access for properties that primarily feature:
- Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or extremism
- Content that exploits minors
- Content that facilitates illegal activity
- Content that constitutes harassment or targeted abuse
Properties with legal but sensitive content (such as mature artistic content) may be flagged as sensitive, which affects which ads are eligible for their selection sets. This is not a penalty; it is matching. Advertisers control whether their ads appear on sensitive-flagged properties.
5. Enforcement
We may take the following actions in response to violations:
- Reject or remove ad creatives
- Suspend or terminate advertiser, publisher, or platform accounts
- Withhold compensation for periods involving fraudulent activity
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement
We are not obligated to provide advance notice before taking enforcement action, though we will make reasonable efforts to do so for non-severe violations.
For users in the European Union, we will provide a statement of reasons when we restrict content or accounts, in accordance with applicable law.
6. Reporting Violations
To report a violation of this AUP, contact us at chosen-abuse@banchelabs.com. Include the ad or property in question and a description of the violation.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with at least one month’s notice.
